Kenyan Afro Dancehall musician is definitely one of the fastest Rising stars in the East last time we saw him was in Addis Ababa hanging out with his crew Mpact Muzik .Teferah is absolutely one of the most famous faces in Ethiopia performing even in cities like Awassa.
The Kenyan star has always kept his Ethiopian roots.
We linked up with him and asked what is the most captivating place he has visited before and his answer was suprising.
Djibouti, on the Horn of Africa, is a mostly French- and Arabic-speaking country of dry shrublands, volcanic formations and Gulf of Aden beaches. It’s home to one of the saltiest bodies of water in the world, the low-lying Lake Assal, in the Danakil Desert. The nomadic Afar people have settlements along Lake Abbe, a body of saltwater featuring chimneylike mineral formations.
RADIO 251.So what do you like about Djibouti?
Teferah: Well my first time in Djibouti i was hit by the culture shocked and probably the first time i saw somali girls speaking in French it was awesome.Djibouti people are friendly and always chilled.
RADIO 251:What was the intentions of your visit?
Teferah:Our music label Mpact Muzik got a booking for us over there,me,Upper Dem Ute from Uganda and Noss from Ethiopia.
we had a hell of a show over there then later an after party at the Safari club which was just life changing .
Radio 251: How was your music Received there
Teferah:I was already well known in Djibouti and my music is always trending there thanks to some dance crews there the surge and the local dance krews there.
RADIO 251;How are the people there?
Teferah:Djibouti has lot’s of beautiful people the ladies are amazing the culture and their food amazing.
